Difficult Times – Verses of Promises from God (Jan. 2007)

Susan's Thursday morning note January 4, 2007
Difficult Times.  Verses of promises from God.

Good morning!  Family members are asleep in the living room, so I don’t dare tip-toe to get my coffee going.  It seems like a majority of you that I have run into this week are not feeling the effects of “Happy” in the saying “Happy New Year.”  This seems to be a week of feeling down, discouraged, facing realities that are out of our control, seeing what we haven’t accomplished since the last years’ resolutions, tired from the holiday, just tired of a lot of our lives.  Referring again from the book As Silver Refined we easily spiral down first from discouragement, then depression, then defeat, then despair.  We must stop our thoughts at the beginning.  Stop.  Refocus.  Yesterday a friend sent me the following verses from God.  The timing of receiving the letter was priceless.  I hope that these verses help you today to begin a fresh new year.  God is in control.  He is in love with us.  We are not alone.  You are never alone.  You are priceless!  May God bless you this new year.  Susan
