Great Quotes!

Good morning!!!  Perfect filler with a little coffee mixed in, everything already rearranged within five minutes from the little human tornado, a mop of hair from the older child sticking out of a blanket from the pulled-out couch…beautiful morning!  The only difficulty is in the fact that I look aged this morning…my glasses officially are those an older woman would wear (an older woman without dignity)…only one side.  I know the little screw is on the floor somewhere for the other side, but tell me, how am I supposed to find the screw without my glasses?  If I look down the one-sided situation causes them to fall off…so, typing without moving my head.  Dare I admit this is the cause of that little tornado?

This week we have three different company orders coming in that have great quotes.  Quotable Cards (magnets, greeting cards, canvas wall hangings, mugs), Primitives by Kathy (boxed signs with great sayings…known especially for "Love You More" and stitcheries with beautiful scripture), and Danielson Designs (fun "girly" magnets, classy wooden signs with famous quotes, and encouraging mini wooden signs with jute string hanging on the top).  You'll love all of these.  I think we have them caught up on our website under gifts!  Here are some of the quotes arriving.  I hope you smile, find hope, gain strength, find whatever you may need this morning in at least one of the quotes.   (Some of the pictures are at the bottom of this note, the rest are on our website under gifts).

I love when all of these come.  I almost always find one that can lift me out of my particular situation into the correct perspective.  Hope.  Peace.  Laughter.  Friendship.  Perspective.  All depends on the moment, but the quotes are there, as friends on a shelf, seeming to understand me, to look past what others see and get a glimpse right into my soul, read what they see, and offer me what I need.  Remind me to look to the heavens, to drop the short distance to my knees, to look others in the eyes, to hope, to cherish, to smile, to not give up, to dream, to love, to be me.

I don't know your particular situations in life today, but I hope you find the peace that passes all understanding by knowing you only have to look to the heavens "where our help comes from" – our promise.  Life is so short.  So beautiful.  So overwhelming.  Eternal perspective.  Maybe we'll have our moments written in stone soon.  If so, will the print be worthy of inscription?  Thank you so much for letting me type to you, for your business, for your ideas, for your used books.  How I love our store!  Let's go see the beauty in the gift of this day.  Look into eyes, look at details.  Remember this…"God gave us a gift of 86,400 seconds today.  Have we used one of them to say "thank you"?  Susan
