Ernie lives in a pet store. A little boy sees Ernie through the window and falls in love with him. This story tells of Ernie’s tales of homes he lives in. One day Ernie and his family go to a shelter to look for a dog. The little boy looks at all the dogs and sees a grown up Ernie. Ernie is adopted by the family and they get to live happily and love one another.
